Ribble Valley Runners host the 2024 Hurst Green Turkey Trot

Ribble Valley Runners hosted the annual Hurst Green Turkey Trot on Saturday 21st December 2024 for the first time.

What a great afternoon of festive muddy trail running - hugely enjoyed by all with some fabulous costumes.

The event was a big success with over 200 runners taking part - a massive well done to the RVR organisers who did such a good job. The event also raised around £1000 for local charities including donations to mountain rescue and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Ribble Valley Runners are already looking forward to the 2025 Hurst Green Turkey Trot
